HUNGARIAN REAL ESTATE ASSOCIATION 

Hungarian Real Estate Association was founded in 1991 as a national professional interest representing organization. Now it has more than 560 members engaged in real estate trade, development, maintenance, property and business evaluation and financial analysis of real estate.

The main task of Hungarian Real Estate Association is to represent the members before Hungarian authorities and other decision-makers and promote services of its members. Furthermore, the aim of the association is to increase professional skills and reputation of real estate practitioners and further the cooperation among the members.

 

 

In general stated Hungarian Real Estate Association practices in every way to further and attend to member's mutual interests. In order to realize these goals it practices among the members different services as follows: information, publishing, legal advise, education and professional certification. It works out and maintains the professional ethics standards. The Association assists the members to develop their professional standards, external relations and business activities and acts as a professional PR organization.

The Association participates in law drafting concerning real estate legislation. For this purpose Hungarian Real Estate Association keeps actively contact with both Hungarian and foreign authorities.

Hungarian Real Estate Association collaborates with the National Association of Realtors (NAR) which covers all states of the USA and other two associations in Florida (Orlando Regional REALTOR Association – ORRA and The REALTOR Association of Greater Miami and The Baches, Inc – RAMB). The Association is the member of five international professional organizations, such as CEREAN (Central European Real Estate Network), CEI   (Confédération Européenne de I’Immobilier), TEGoVA (The European Group of Valuers’ Associations), CEPI-CEAB (Conseil Européen des Professions Immobiliéres) and FIABCI (International Real Estate Federation).

The structure and operation of the Association is based on the association law. The General Assembly of the Association sits twice a year. The work of the Association is conducted by the Presidency and performed by the acting secretariat. The professional activity of the Association is assisted by 9 committees.

All members of the Association have full professional liability insurance.
